Between all the decisions you have to make for a having a perfect wedding there is also the wedding menu. What are the appropriate dishes? Will my guests like what they will be served? Chicken or beef?
Well, in the first place, think at whom you are going to invite. Are they pretentious people? Ask your future husband and your family to help. The restaurant or the catering companies have an already set up menu, an informative one, but you can suggest them the menus and the serving ways that you like.
The appetizers are meant to stimulate the appetite, but also to deceive hunger for a while. And how they are a prelude for the feast that follows, it is essential that they meet certain qualities: to be tasty, to look good on the plates and to be in various assortments. Here are some not so expensive, but fulfilling, wedding appetizers ideas: “Rosettes with cucumber and salmon”, “Cheese tarts with blueberry sauce” and “Figs with foie gras”. The rosettes with cucumber and salmon” are special appetizers, surprisingly easy to make and it offers an unexpected experience of taste and aesthetics.
To prepare this delicious dish you will need: cucumber (depending on how many guests you will have), smoked salmon, cream cheese, a few tablespoons of butter, fresh chopped dill, salt and red pepper after taste. And now comes the easy part: cut the cucumber in half of centimeter slices; mix the cheese cream and the butter in a bowl until they get a creamy consistence and then add the salt and the chopped dill. Place the bowl in the refrigerator half of hour. Meanwhile, set the cucumber slices on plateaus and slice the salmon thin. Use a decorating device and decorate the cucumbers with the cheese cream and transform the salmon slices in pretty edible roses and set them on the cheese filling. And done!
For the “Tarts with cheese and blueberry sauce” things aren’t so easy to be made, but extremely tasteful. You will need French pastry or Greek. Put it into the tart forms and let it in the oven for 5 minutes, at a medium temperature. Fill them with Brie or Camembert cheese and take them into the oven one more minute. At the end, fill the mini tarts with blueberry gem and add on the top a rolled slice of prosciutto. This is a very tasteful appetizer, even for pretentious consumers.
